Russian Volume Lashes

Russian volume eyelash application is an advanced form of lashing and is the art of multiple pick up of up to six super fine synthetic eyelash extensions (the extensions are much thinner than a classic lash extension) and placing them in a man-made fan on to one natural lash.

Russian volume lashes can be adapted to suit your individual requirements and are placed in a fan like shape which creates the volume and also creates a thicker and fluffier look. Using this technique enables us to create a full look even if the lashes have some gaps.

Classic Lash Extensions

Classic lash extensions are where one synthetic lash is attached to individual natural lashes to create length, colour and volume.

There are a variety of lengths and thicknesses which can be used to give the required result. Classic lashes are extremely popular especially for individuals that want the a more natural look however these can be adapted for a more dramatic effect.

Hybrid Lashes

Hybrid lashes are a mixture of two different lash techniques which are individual lashes (classic) and fan lashes (Russian volume).

By combining these two techniques, it can give a thicker, denser look than classic extensions but without the uniformity and volume of Russian volume lashes.

Hybrid lashes are also perfect for anyone unsure about which type of lash extensions to try. Hybrid lashes can also help to bridge any gaps in the natural lashes.

LVL Lash Lift

LVL stands for length, volume and lift and yes it does do all of those things! LVL works by the application of products to your natural lashes which straighten and lift the lashes resulting in a beautiful enhancement of your natural lashes and the treatment is finished with an eyelash tint to add colour to the lashes.

It’s a great alternative to lash extensions and the perfect way to enhance what you already have, whether your lashes are long, short, thick or stubborn. This treatment will create the look of longer, fuller lashes that make your eyes appear more open and youthful.

Lash and brow tint

An eyelash tint is definitely a classic treatment in the beauty salon and no matter what alternative treatments are brought out it still remains a very popular option. A lash tint is the application of colour to the natural lashes to give depth and definition and lasts approximately 3 to 4 weeks, brows generally last 2 – 3 weeks.

Tinting is great for anyone who’s natural lashes/brows are fair and also as a great alternative to makeup. The majority of my clients that have light eyelashes opt for a lash tint before the application of their lash extensions so they don’t need to wear mascara on the bottom lashes and so that it is less noticeable as the lash extensions start to fall out.

Facials

A facial is the treatment of the face and neck using a variety of products to achieve a brighter, smoother and more even complexion.

The difference between my facials:

An express facial is a 30 minute basic facial for all skin types which includes a cleanse, exfoliate, mask and moisturiser.

A full facial is more luxurious as it includes a face, neck and shoulder massage and a scalp massage. A full facial is more specific to your needs through the addition of alternative face masks.

A glycolic peel is an amazing facial procedure which will resurface your skin giving it dramatically softer, smoother texture, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and reducing scarring.

Pedicure

A pedicure is a therapeutic treatment for your feet that has instant results both physically and mentally.

A good foot treatment is heaven and generally includes a soak in a foot spa, exfoliating foot scrub, hard skin removal, cuticle tidy up, nails cut, foot massage and nail varnish to finish.

Manicure

A manicure is the treatment of the hands and nails. During a manicure your nails are soaked in warm water, your cuticles are nourished with cream and any excess will be removed, finger nails are shaped, you then have a hand and arm massage before finishing with nail varnish.

A deluxe manicure/pedicure is the addition of paraffin wax to the hands or feet and then wrapped in hot boots or gloves, this is wonderful for relieving arthritic aches and pains and for moisturising and softening the skin.

Gel manicure / pedicure

A gel manicure/ pedicure is the application of a gel to the natural nails which is long lasting and dries immediately with the use of a LED lamp.

Gel needs to be removed using acetone so ensure that you book a soak off to ensure the health of the natural nail. Gel is more durable than nail varnish and can last chip free for weeks

Waxing

Waxing is the removal of body and facial hair from the root using a product which sticks to the hair and is removed. Waxing the hair will give longer hair free results than shaving or using hair removal cream and over time the hairs may appear to be softer. I use a soft strip wax and a hot wax in treatments.

A strip wax is applied in a thin layer and removed using a wax strip, hot wax is applied in a thicker layer and sets to form a hard but flexible layer which is then removed with the hair, no wax strip required!

Massage

Massage is the movement and manipulation of soft muscles by using hands, elbows, feet or by using a massage device such as heated lava shells.

The effects of massage can be determined by the clients needs plus the type of massage that has been booked. In general massage has three main benefits, emotional, physical and mental. It has recently been recognised that by improving emotional well being massage can play an important part in relieving some symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Brow lamination

Brow lamination is a chemical treatment very similar to a lash lift where the brow hairs are straightened and lifted to appear fuller. Brow lamination is also great as a corrective treatment for unruly brows!

Henna brows

Using Henna we are able to literally tint the skin as well as the brow hairs, this can give a longer lasting result as well as giving the illusion of brow makeup being worn due to the powder brow appearance
